Perfect Wave’s Global Marketing Manager Ben Horvath and CEO Jamie Gray devised a completely original and unique offering – Music In Paradise.
Music in Paradise fuses a love of the ocean, and music, in one unique offering.
Days are spent playing in tropical crystal clear waters at the best resorts in Australia, Fiji, Maldives or Indonesia, and as the sun sets, music legends perform live with the crashing waves as percussion.
Hang out with your favourite music artist while holidaying in paradise. It doesn’t get any better than this.

What an experience
Our time in the Maldives for our honeymoon was incredible! The resort was a taste of paradise, the band members were super friendly and the music was everything. It was a once in a lifetime trip for us and what a great way to celebrate our second week of marriage with our feet dug into the sand listening to the melodic tunes of Birds of Tokyo.

I will definitely go again if Stranded in the Snowys happens again next year. Amazing live music in a fabulous setting. Great accommodation and a very special concert experience four nights in a row. This was my sixth MIP trip
And it was right up there with Maldives (2nd year). The crowd was small and intimate – a great, friendly crowd & the whole MIP crew were amazing (including the photographer). A beautiful setting, made some great new friends, and listened to some sensational music. Book me in for next year!

Wow- what a week
What an incredible week!
My sister had always listened to Delta’s music but I hadn’t. When she suggested it, I had always wanted to visit the Maldives so it was a done deal.
By the end of the week, I was the one convincing my sister to sign up for next year!!
It was the most amazing week. Delta is such a down to earth, lovely person and it was wonderful seeing her going off for her trips and making the most of the incredible island.
Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.
Pure Heaven and a week of awesomeness
WOW! What a fantastic and special trip. The entire holiday was pure joy, magical and heavenly. From the relaxing massages and daily activities we were able to fit in everything we wanted. The accommodation were superb and so comfortable. The best part of course was the music. How good are The Living End, Tex Perkins and Matt Walker!!!! Rocking on the sands of this beautiful island just made it surreal. Loved every moment. Never need to drink again though. HA HA – cocktails were just the best. Sarooj was the best barman ever. The entire trip was worth every cent.

Fantastic trip.
Music in Paradise management was well organised, informative and helpful.
Kandooma was awesome place with great adventures, best snorkeling ever, and great stafff that were very friendly and helpful as well as efficient.
Delta was truly amazing performances in perfect settings and was very approachable and friendly throughout resort all week.
Girls' trip 2023
What began as a spontaneous adventure, ended with memories we’ll have forever.
It was truly paradise.
And then all of the stars in the sky aligned and a dream came true.
In June 2014, Perfect Travel Group launched the inaugural Music In Paradise series featuring Donavon Frankenreiter at Kandooma Resort, Maldives.
In June 2015 Pete Murray and Matt Smith performed. That September, Tex Perkins and Murray Patterson played 4 incredible gigs in 7 days, also at Kandooma.
Since then, Music in Paradise expanded to Bali, Fiji and Australia. Ocean Alley and Phil Jamieson at S-Resorts Hidden Valley, Jimmy Barnes at Kandooma as well as Daydream Island in the Whitsundays.
May 2022 was our biggest one yet with Daryl Braithwaite, Richard Clapton, Ian Moss, Troy Cassar Daley, The Living End, Phil Jamieson, Diesel and The Black Sorrows – massive two weeks of amazing music and unforgettable memories for everyone involved.
In 2023 Music in Paradise hosted Xavier Rudd, Delta Goodrem and Birds of Tokyo in Maldives, and Jimmy Barnes with Kate Ceberano, Ian Moss, The Black Sorrows and Mahalia Barnes in Whitsundays.
The question on everyone’s lips after all these MUSIC IN PARADISE gigs always is: How could you ever go to a standard gig ever again?
In 2024, you can look forward to Delta’s return to Maldives, Xavier Rudd in Fiji, The Living End with You Am I in Maldives and Jimmy Barnes, Richard Clapton, The Black Sorrows, Brooke McClymont & Adam Eckersley and Mahalia Barnes & The Soul Mates in beautiful Snowy Mountains, Australia.
Sitting literally metres from the stage on a bean bag, cocktail or beer in hand, partner, friends or family nearby, socializing with the musos and like-minded fans is unbeatable!
